Luckily while searching I read Marwa’s reviews, which were outstanding, and I was impressed by the creativity and wide range of styles, especially with women of different ethnicities. The preview session was a perfect idea, during which she understood all my comments and feedback. My mother-in-law was also impressed, as though the preview didn’t work out, the communication and changes for the wedding looked amazing. We loved her makeup application, as the technique and instruments were unlike anything we had experienced. My makeup stayed on flawlessly, with the entire wedding party complimenting the job she did. On the day of the wedding, Marwa and her assistant arrived on time and they were so professional throughout the entire day. They did hair and makeup for myself, four bridesmaids, one flower girl and three moms - so they had their hands full. However, they took time with each one of use to ensure everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone's look turned out incredible - they were all stunning. When I saw my final look, it was better than anything I had dreamt of. I had never felt so beautiful. Marwa and her assistant helped make my wedding day more incredible than I ever could have imagined. All of the girls had so much fun getting ready and we all felt so beautiful afterwards. If you want your hair and makeup to look flawless and to reflect the look YOU want, I would highly recommend Marwa. She is an amazing artist and person!!!

After our trial, I had some requests for changes on the wedding day and she listened to it all and I think my makeup was perfect in the end!

She suggested that we try putting some eye drops. To my surprise, my eyes stopped watering. Marwa remembered to bring the eye drops on both my wedding and reception day. The looks she created for me on the days of my wedding and reception were even more incredible than the trial. She is able to work with brides from different ethnicities, producing great results for all skin types and colours. She is very helpful as well. I lost the back of my one of my earrings just as I was about to leave for my reception. Marwa was very sweet to let me use the backs of one of her earrings. She is very responsive, and it very easy to communicate with her via email or phone.

Her interactions and communications (via email, phone, or in person) were always very professional. She is also very personable, friendly, and easy to work with, which brings me to #2: 2. collaborative: Marwa really worked with me to achieve just the look(s) that I was looking for. I showed her my ideas and she showed me some of hers. She is flexible and is really attuned to what her clients want. She takes into account the event, the environment (indoors vs. outdoors), outfits, etc...She thought of things that I didn’t even think would influence my hair and make-up. She also made suggestions taking into account my desired look. I always felt very comfortably talking to her and she was always receptive to my feedback and requests. 3. technical skill: It is clear that Marwa has the proper training and technical skill to deliver a variety of looks. Her competency is evident in her dexterity and her attention to detail. I also appreciated that she truly took her time in achieving my look. Never did I feel rushed or that I was inconveniencing her. While she was doing my hair and make-up, she would always “check-in” with me for my input. She put me at ease and helped me de-stress about my upcoming shoot. Overall, Marwa was a complete joy to work with. Needless to say, I LOVED my hair and make-up for my engagement shoot. It was just the right amount of make-up to “show up” in the pictures, but also still looked totally natural and not overdone. My hair and make-up were complete at 11am and our shoot was 330pm - 7pm. In that 8 hour span, I never had to touch anything up or reapply any make-up other than lipstick, and that was only because I ate lunch :) She did such an awesome job and I couldn’t have been happier. ay. Marwa did my mom's makeup in natural hues, just as she requested. My mom never wears makeup and didn't know exactly what she wanted, yet Marwa was able to perfectly figure out what would be best for her :) Marwa then did my makeup as the bride-to-be wearing 4 different gowns in different hues. She helped me figure out what tones to use on my makeup, showed me what she was doing all along, and explained how to do it in the future for my own reference. When she finished my eyes, I noticed I wanted it a bit more dramatic and she went right to it - and got it done exactly how I had envisioned it! My face makeup was perfect, lipstick just the right shade, and fake eyelashes were the talk of the night!! MARWA IS PERFECT! I HIIIIIIIIIIGHLY recommend her for ANY occasion! :)
